Emma Blount is a talented, award-winning artist who graduated with a BA honours degree in "Art for Community" from Roehampton Institute, Barnes, London.

Emma was the privileged 2006-2007 winner of The Award for Excellence given by The Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass. This exciting ten month training placement in a selection of leading stained glass studios around England, Ireland and Germany provides a unique opportunity for enhanced work experience, tuition and exposure to advanced techniques.  Everything is covered from restoration of cathedral windows to the latest machine aided glass decoration.

She undertakes commissions in stained glass windows, secular or non-secular, of all sizes and types, including heraldic work, chapel windows, hospital windows, domestic bathroom and front door windows.

Emma works in traditional leaded stained glass as well as appliqué bonded glass.

She does painted or etched glass or plain leaded lights. Each piece of work is individually designed to the client's taste to suit the function, colour and style of the surrounding space.

Emma is also talented in drawing and painting and she undertakes commissions in these media as well.
